you’ll need:

• a 2×4 folding table
• 2×4 ebb and flow table
• a 55 gallon res
• a water pump
• ebb and flow fittings
• a hole saw that fits ebb and flow settings
• tubing (some plugs are 3/4th of an inch, others are 1/2th inch)
• possible airstone/air pump for res
• bungie cords
• electrical clock timer

first of all, with a 3/4th i think hole saw, you can find it at home depot or lowes, with that hole saw you saw out a FLOW and a DRAIN hole on the side, where the ebb and flow table will overlap the table and flood from the res and drain back, complete with drips, into the the res

make sure the gromit or whatever is sealed, i personally didnt seal mine too well so it dripped

but you overlap the table onto the res, so about 1 foot of the ebb and flow tables wide side kinda sticks over and the ebb and flow table is strapped down by the bungie cords. if its stable, it should work during grows, and try to connect them from under the table, if the bungie hook doesnt take, try carefully streching it out, or force it into the side of the ebb and flow table

so here we go, the water pumps (floods) water and nutes into the flood table, it sits there for about 5-15 minutes, and it drains back into the resevior, these all happen in increments throughout the day

you also dont have to change res water until 2 weeks prior harvest, so feel free to gauge and estimate pouring nutrients in

also be sure to use nutrients with a ph buffer, try generic hydroponics flora nova, it keeps ph at 7 even before and after nutes have been added

if you want to quickly and effortlessly drain an ebb and flow setup, you can always attach a long tubing to a water pump in the res, and try to dump all water out through that mean
